The Office of Congresswoman Kathleen Rice provides limited scholarships for eligible interns participating in the Washington DC Internship Program. This program is designed to help those who would otherwise not be able to afford to participate in the internship program. For this reason, eligibility is restricted to those with financial need.
Please note that to be eligible for this program, you must:
- Commit to at least 30 hours per week;
- Be able to prove financial need;
- Follow campus policy on receiving pay while receiving credit, if applicable.
If accepted, the participant will receive $1,500 per month for a maximum of 3 months.
This application requires you to submit your most recent FAFSA Student Aid Report. Learn how to download your SAR here: https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/help/view-sar.
Please note that you must submit two applications to be considered for this scholarship: the Washington, DC Internship application and the Internship Scholarship Program Application. Contact Gavin Wolf at 202-225-5516 with any questions regarding the Washington DC Internship Scholarship Program.
